VOLUNTEER JOB TITLE: ACCTV Production Assistant

REPORTS TO: The ACCTV Production Assistant reports to the ACCTV Producer, Ted Fong, with matrix reporting to the ACC Senior Services Volunteer Coordinator.

SUMMARY: The volunteer in this role assists with the behind-the-scenes production of all ACCTV online programs, such as monitoring Facebook, YouTube, and Zoom connectivity and ensuring that all equipment is operating correctly.

JOB DUTIES

• Abide by and enforce social distancing, and all other COVID-19 safety protocols.
• Assist in the set-up and take-down of any and all sets, equipment, and materials used by instructors or production staff.
• Monitor equipment connectivity and operation for the duration of online classes.
• Assist in the production of online classes.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with video and audio production equipment and troubleshooting preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to take direction, or work independently, as required of the position.
• Ability to learn on-the-job and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accept and enforce all rules and regulations of ACC Senior Services.
• Dependable and able to commit to a regular schedule.
• Pass a background check, and provide COVID-19 test results prior to assignment.

ACC Senior Services Main Campus, 7334 Park City Drive, Sacramento, CA 95831

SCHEDULE & LENGTH OF COMMITMENT

Flexible shifts available Monday - Friday, each shift duration is approximately 3 hours. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular schedule.

TRAINING PROVIDED

Volunteers are required to complete orientation and in-service trainings.

• Volunteer policies and procedures, HIPAA Confidentiality, and Elder Abuse Prevention.
• Other trainings provided on an as-needed basis, dependent upon volunteer job duties.
